About HCA
Who We Are
"Way back in 1915, a group of public spirited citizens residing the weed-infected, countrified, dirt road community of Hollywood, IL decided that an improvement association should be formed. They desired representation in the Village of Brookfield board meetings, also greatly needed improvements. Thus the Hollywood Citizens Associations was born."

The boundaries of the Hollywood neighborhood are south of the Brookfield Zoo, east and north of Salt Creek and west of the Des Plaines River. Hollywood includes parts of the villages of Brookfield, Riverside, and Lyons, Illinois.
Why We Need Your Support
The HCA and the Hollywood House are independent from the Village of Brookfield and District 96. We are a community non-profit organization that provides services and gets income from room rentals and special events like the pancake breakfast, flea market, wreath sale, etc.
To continue to operate, to provide services, and to maintain the historical property of the Hollywood House, the HCA needs to raise money. Hollywood residents have a stake in the HCA and without community support, the HCA would not be able to continue.

Objectives
To maintain and preserve the Hollywood Community House and support Hollywood Elementary and the Hollywood Neighborhood.
Meetings
We meet at 7:00 p.m. at the Community House on the 2nd Monday of every month excluding December, July, and August. See the events calendar for meeting dates.
